What’s in The Peace Skills Potion?

Mostly, a thing called “Compassionate” or “Nonviolent Communication”.

And what the heck should that be?

It’s a set of skills and understandings aimed at creating empathy and heart-to-heart-connection even in the most difficult of circumstances. It’s being used in mediating conflicts all over the world and has proven to be one of the most effective and sustainable approaches to solving conflicts.

Sadly, you cannot drink it in a potion.

But you can learn it. Watching these Videos is a good starter. 😉

John Kinyon often works together with Ike Lasater, the mediator in “How Romeo And Juliet Found a Totally Different, Happier Ending”. Again, if little time, jump right to 02:40s.

If you want to dig deeper, check out this:

And if you’re now asking yourself “where can I learn this?!” – go check out www.cnvc.org.

They have a list of many of the NVC trainings happening around the world. Most probably there’s also a NVC association in your country with a more comprehensive list of trainings taking place in your area.

Enjoy the path, young Padawans 😉
